About Us

Bayview Flying Field          Bayview Park Flying Field          Canada Day

The Burlington Radio Control Modellers is a group of approximately 160 members that share a common interest in flying model aircraft. The objective of the membership is to have good clean fun while maintaining a sense of community involvement. We have 2 beautiful flying fields that we maintain within public park areas. Burlington is about a half hour drive west of the City of Toronto (when there is no traffic), and is on the north shore at the very west end of Lake Ontario.

Our club prides itself on having an exemplary safety record with an outstanding wings program. Our intent is to keep the hobby alive and well so our members pass the enjoyment on to others. We have numerous events throughout the year that range from competitive catagories to just "plane" (pardon the pun) fun flying. We fly off the land and the water. We have control line and radio controlled aircraft. We have indoor penny light freeflight planes. There is something for everyone.

Monthly Meetings

With the exception of the summer months of June, July and August, our club holds monthly general meetings.

General meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30pm.  All Members & non-members are welcome.

Each month we have a different theme with a specific activity planned.  There is usually a 50/50 raffle, and coffee and donuts are readily available and inexpensive!

Our meetings are located at the Burlington Public Library (Main Branch), 2331 New Street, Burlington, Ontario, L7R 1J4 .
