RPAS Recency Exam
4stripes
February 17, 2025
Many of you have reached that milestone of about 2 years since the RPAS certificate exam was forced on you, so it's now time that you will need to perform a 'recency' exam. It needs to be done every 24 months to keep their RPAS certificate valid.

The exam has all the answers, so print and enter the date you completed it. This is all you need to do to maintain your “recency”.

This is the link to the exam:

February General Meeting

Aircraft Found
President
January 7, 2025

We have TWO lost/found aircraft.

  1. Graham P (name unknown) located a helicopter and left it on the chickie table at the field. I have no idea if it’s still there.
  2. Paul Fittier, a former BRCM flier and contemporary of Charlie Chomos, was mountain biking near North Service Road and came across the attached airplane, undamaged, on the ground ready to fly again. If it’s yours, call me at 905-648-2706 and we’ll reunite plane with owner.
  3. Update

I am delighted to report that the owners of the plane and helicopter have been identified and the helicopter has been located. Very soon planes and owners will be reunited.

Yes, Martha, there is a Santa Claus.
